🌼 Sunnie’s Mother’s Day Out Updates & Announcements 🌼
Hi SMDO families! I have a few updates to share, so I encourage everyone to read through this post when you have a moment so you can stay fully up to date and plan ahead if needed.
First, I just want to say how incredibly grateful I am that Sunnie’s Mother’s Day Out continues to grow. Because of that growth, we’re working with slightly larger group sizes than we’ve had in the past. We are still intentionally keeping things small with a maximum of 5 kiddos at a time, but I’ve started to see the need for a little more structure in our day. Over the next few days, I’ll be working on a more organized daily schedule to help make sure we fit in all of the fun activities I have planned and that your kiddos are having the best possible experience from start to finish. With the warmer months ahead, we’ll have even more opportunities for fun together. ☀️
I’m also putting together a list of closure dates for upcoming holidays, vacations, and extended closures so families can plan ahead. The biggest one I want to share now is that after careful consideration, I’ve decided to take the entire month of July off this year.
This isn’t something I normally do or something that will happen every year, but my daughter will be starting Pre-K in August, and she has been absolutely incredible in sharing me with so many wonderful families over the years—sharing her home, her toys, and her Mama. Before she starts this big new chapter, I really want to take some extended time to give a little of that time back to her and create some really special memories together.
As much as I love being “Ms. Sunnie” and truly adore every part of Sunnie’s Mother’s Day Out, I’m Mommy first, and this feels like the right thing for our family during this season. After July, we will return to our normal schedule.
I also currently have a few openings available, so if you know of a friend or family member looking for part-time childcare (either weekly or as-needed), please feel free to send them my way. I do have a referral program, and as a thank you, any family who refers someone that books care will receive one full day of free childcare. It would truly mean so much to continue growing through families who already know and love Sunnie’s MDO!
If you’re comfortable sharing your experience, you’re also always welcome to leave a review on the Sunnie’s Mother’s Day Out page. Reviews are incredibly helpful for small businesses and allow new families to hear directly from those who already trust me with their littles. I’m always so grateful for the support!
Lastly, I’m always open to hearing from you. If any of my current families ever have ideas, suggestions, or things they’d love to see more of at Sunnie’s Mother’s Day Out, please feel free to share them with me. While I may not always be able to implement every idea, I truly value your thoughts and love hearing ways we can continue to grow and make this space even better for the kiddos.
Thank you all so much for trusting me with your little ones.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and as always, I’m just a text or call away if you ever need anything! 💛
