National School Lunch Week is October 12–16, 2026, and this year’s theme is Cafeteria Circus!

Nutritious school meals play an important role in helping our students stay energized, learn, and grow. We’re also shining a spotlight on the amazing cafeteria teams who work hard every day to make mealtime special.

A big thank you to our School Nutrition team for all they do to keep our students fueled and ready to learn!

The Dan River Marching Wildcats are hosting their annual Wildcat Classic Band Competition on Saturday, October 24th! Marching bands from all around will be coming to compete, and we welcome families and friends to come out and support these talented musicians. Join us for a day of fun and incredible performances!

We will have a final hat day tomorrow! The cost is $1 per hat, but we are also happy to collect any donations as all money goes to a 3 year old in our community, Wyatt, who is battling brain cancer.
