HHS Generals School Counseling

GNTC is offering a Driver Education course in September. Courses will be held on Saturdays (5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th) from 8:30 to 5:00. Classes are at the Catoosa County Campus and cost is $400 per student. GNTC does have scholarships available. You can email [email protected] for more information.

Reminder for Sophomores. Teen Maze permission forms are due no later than THIS Friday. Please turn them in to Mr Franks in the Counseling office.

Sophomores, you will be getting a Teen Maze permission form in your 1st block on Friday. If you want to attend the Teen Maze on September 17th, you must return the permission form to the counseling office no later than Friday, August 28th. For more info, see Mr Franks

Lunch visits are starting to line up some. The following recruiters will be set up outside the media center during lunch for students to chat with if they desire:

August 19: Marines
August 27: University of West Georgia
September 3: Shorter University
October 3: University of Georgia

Attention GNTC dual enrollment students:

Today is the first day of classes at GNTC. For all online classes, you MUST complete the No-Show Assignment within the first 3 days of the course or you will be automatically dropped from the course by GNTC. For in-person GNTC classes, you must attend this week or you will also be marked as no show and dropped from the course by GNTC.

Calling ALL HHS sophomores. The Teen Maze is coming up September 17th at the Colonnade. You do not want to miss this exciting event. You will get to make real life decisions and see just how those specific decisions can impact the rest of your life. It’s Ur Choice and Ur Destiny. Permission forms will go home on August 24th and they must be returned NO LATER than Friday August 28th.
