We are so grateful that the United Way is our helping hand. Our Pioneers are visited weekly by a community guest reader. Our older campers are logging reading time for an end of the summer treat. Thank you United Way and Kim Dennis!

Today, we pause to celebrate fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, foster fathers, spiritual fathers, mentors, and every man who has chosen to lead, love, guide, protect, encourage, and serve.

Fatherhood is more than a title. It is a calling. It is seen in the steady example of integrity, the quiet sacrifices made for family, the words of wisdom spoken at just the right time, and the strength shown through love, patience, and faithfulness.

At the Effingham YMCA, we believe strong families help build strong communities. Our mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. Fathers and father figures play a powerful role in that mission by helping shape the next generation with character, compassion, courage, and faith.

Today, we thank God for the men who show up, speak life, offer guidance, give hugs, teach lessons, pray prayers, cheer from the sidelines, and lead by example. Your impact reaches further than you may ever know.

Good morning everyone! We are closely monitoring the weather as its showing thunderstorms all day.
🌊Aqua Aerobics will be canceled this morning and pool operation will be delayed opening with continued updates throuout the day.
