During yesterday’s parent-teacher conferences, we had the distinct pleasure of celebrating our Teacher of the Year and Staff Support Person of the Year.

This week Mrs. Hayes's students celebrated meeting their smart goals on their recent CIA by hosting a "Cookies and Coloring" reward day! 🎉 Students enjoyed cookies while coloring the political and physical features of the Middle East onto their maps. THANK YOU to Goshen United Methodist Church for providing sweet treats to Mrs. Hayes's scholars for this event! 🤗

💚 Mental Health Support for Students & Families

Our district partners with Daybreak Health to offer confidential teletherapy for students ages 5–19. Licensed clinicians can help with stress, anxiety, attention, motivation, relationships, school avoidance, school concerns, and other everyday challenges.

💻 Virtual appointments are available:

Monday–Friday: After school

Saturday: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM

Sessions are virtual and can be accessed from home.

✨ Support is now available for the whole family! Parents and caregivers can also request confidential care for themselves or for a sibling.

When students and families feel supported, students are better able to focus, learn, and grow.💚

Check out Mrs. Darling’s Advanced Content High School Physical Science students’ Element Projects. Students were assignment an element and had to do the following: research their element, create a presentation, make a 3D model of the atom, create a superhero/supervillain with a back story for their element, and present the final product and pieces to their class. Our 8th graders had an amazing opportunity to visit Georgia Southern University for the 8th Grade RISE Experience! Students heard from local industries about career opportunities beyond high school and explored different career pathways through engaging, hands-on activities.

From learning about careers to getting to experience them firsthand, our students were able to RISE, explore, and imagine what their future could look like!

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this experience possible!
