Bees need more than flowers to survive. They need clean water sources, safe nesting sites, pesticide-free foraging zones, and space to overwinter undisturbed. Creating bee-friendly yards means understanding that both honeybees and native bees have different needs, and that small actions like leaving garden stems standing through winter or skipping the lawn chemicals directly impact pollinator survival. Every yard can become part of the solution.
