Salmon River Community Classes - Last second class opening!!

Intro to Prospecting: A Morning on the River Searching for Gold!
Taught by Local Prospector Mark Hollon

📅 Date: Thursday, June 25
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – Noon(ish)? Lets beat the summer heat!
📍 Location: 1/4 mile upstream from Spring Bar

-We’ll meet at Salmon River High School (SRHS) and drive up as a group. Meet where the busses drop off the students. Transportation will be provided for those who don’t want to drive.

Join local prospector Mark Hollon — with decades of experience and a passion for Idaho’s rich mineral history for an exciting, hands-on class where you’ll:

- Pan for gold in the Salmon River
- Clean and process your finds
- Take home any gold you discover!
- Receive a Gold Panning Starter Kit just for participating

Spots are limited to 20 participants. This is going to be a FUN morning! Open to all ages.

The "Community Classes" were a HUGE hit last year, covering a wide range of topics like sewing, gold prospecting, bee keeping, and more!

📍Do you have a hobby or talent you’d love to share with the community? We’re looking for 5 awesome people to lead hands-on, fun, and FREE community classes for all ages this summer!

📍Whether it’s art, music, crafts, or something wild and creative we will help cover the supplies, you bring the fun!
