Writers of all ages came to learn, connect, and share at Rigby High School on Saturday, October 11th. Many of the authors at the Idaho Storytellers Summit had ties to Idaho, including both of the keynote speakers.

That’s a wrap! Thanks to everyone who supported our summit! We raised enough money to pay for one and half kids to go to StoryCon with our shirt sales, and will be able to add so many library books because of this event.

Heidi Robbins, librarian for Rigby High School, has spent the last three years working tirelessly to apply for and receive numerous grants to provide new books for students to read. And now, she's using that experience to run a writing conference in East Idaho this Saturday, October 11.

We are excited to announce that RHS is home to the State School Librarian of the Year: Heidi Robbins! Over only 3 years, Mrs. Robbins has applied for and received numerous grants to provide current books for our students to read. All of this hard work has resulted in thousands of books checked out each year. The Idaho Library Association recognized all of her hard work during their annual conference last week. Congratulations, Mrs. Robbins! We are grateful to have you in our school.
