I have 2 quality milk goat does in need of a new home that are currently in milk. They are 2 years old & in their first lactation. One had twins & one had triplets. Great milk production. Mixed bloodlines but we've been selecting/culling our herd yearly for 10 years & need to reduce our numbers. Both does are well trained to the milk stand & hand milking. Job Description
We are a small family farm where you will be part of a loyal & caring team. The primary season is April-October. We raise vegetables, fruit & animals that we market locally through farmers markets as well as teach classes on the farm. We are looking for a team member with the ability to grow into the assistant manager role. The job is a variable mix of sometimes physically demanding or detail-oriented farm tasks, customer service & marketing at our markets, supervising other team members, and building/maintenance projects on the farm. It provides good variety & can be very fulfilling as we provide healthy & nutrient dense food for our community. We don’t work Sundays with the exception of animal care which the family normally takes care of. The work hours are heavier during the primary season & lighter in the off season.

Examples of duties
Soil preparation, planting, cultivation/w**ding, greenhouse management including trellising & pruning, regular harvesting by hand, post-harvest washing/packaging etc, irrigation management, farmers market help, property maintenance including w**d whacking & cleanup, packaging eggs & preparing other specialty products, washing totes

Qualifications/Skills
Good attitude & willingness to learn
Trustworthy & loyal
Self-motivated with a strong sense of pace & urgency
Reliable & a team player
Good communication & customer service skills
Attention to detail
Ability to perform strenuous physical labor on a regular basis often in adverse conditions (heat, rain, hail, snow, and mud). All while staying positive!

Come learn all about the benefits of kefir—arguably the best superfood for your gut health! We’ll make kefir yogurt together, talk about the difference between water kefir, milk kefir, regular yogurt, etc. Bring 3 jars (pint or quart sized) with you and take home samples and your own grains to start making it at home. Looking for two more regular customers! First three regular customers get half off each year. To be a “regular” customer, you would come once a week on the same day each week and get a gallon or more, but an amount that stays close to the same each week, just so that we can plan. Regular price is $5 a quart—same price as Walmart, but much better quality and it tastes great! So the half price is $5/half gallon (this is the size jars we sell it in) or $10/gallon. We charge $3 a jar deposit which you get back when you return the jar or you can trade out your own jars if you have that size and skip the deposit.

Disclaimer: we love raw milk and believe it is the healthiest way to drink milk, but there is a chance of bacteria when milk is not pasteurized and the cream does separate a little when it’s not homogenized, so purchase/drink at your own risk! 😁

We have big beautiful heads of Romaine lettuce! More than we can sell at the market this weekend but it will be too hot this next week to keep them growing until next market. $3 each. You can’t get a better price at Winco, Costco, Walmart, Broulims. I mean it, these are beauties!! I’ll throw in my Caesar salad dressing recipe too for anyone who buys some—it’s amazing! Come grab some before they’re gone!!
