7 years ago Desmond Miles started coaching with us at Jump Start Sports Academy and then he started his own private coaching program. During that time he has built one of the most advanced basketball training in Eastern Idaho.

Here is our FALL 2026 schedule!

We are located in Rigby, right off the highway, easy access, 4141 E 645 N, Rigby, ID 83442

Jump Start Skill Classes work on dribbling, shooting and finishing at the rim. And then each week they learn a new skill of the week. This pushes the kids to keep learning and improving their skills.

Our Scrimmage classes start at age 8, and have been a huge success for the students. Each one is right after their age group so your student can attend class and then scrimmage/ open gym class right after. Scrimmage class is organized scrimmage, with our talented coaches acting as refs while still actively coaching. The students are able to put their skills into game speed play, and work on defense. They are pushed, while still in a fun environment with tunes playing.

TO REGISTER: please text 208-243-7079, or email [email protected]. Our secretary is in the office Monday - Friday, in the mornings. If you call or text outside that time she will respond right away the following morning.

Certain classes fill up fast, but we will have a waiting list to hopefully get you in.

No contract, just month to month. Most kids stay in year round, but if you need to take a break for another sport or just need a rest let us know the week before the new month starts.

What questions do you have? We’d love to answer them!
