Upward Bound provides fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance and college success.

Upward Bound is a federally-funded TRIO program from the US Dept of Education. Area high school students get exceptional support as they prepare to attend the college or university of their choice. Upward Bound is funded to serve 60 students in the West Garfield County area. Participants enter during their 9th or 10th grade year and learn how to achieve academic excellence and how to be involved i

Summer Academy 2022 was a success!
Students had a variety of opportunities this summer. Through our six-week program, students took time to explore different career interests, be part of a radio show, take Mandarin Chinese classes, and make new friends. In addition to this, we finished our summer program with a great college trip to Utah.
