๐ Learning Through Discovery! โ๏ธ
This summer, 50 RHS Bears (and former Bears) experienced the trip of a lifetime with EF Tours! Over 11 days, they explored Ireland, Wales, Scotland, and England while learning about topics ranging from Irish emigration to King Henry VIII and beyond.
Ready for your own unforgettable adventure? Our next EF Tour is headed to Japan in Summer 2027! ๐ฏ๐ต
Interest has been so strong that we've expanded this to a double-bus tour, and there is still room to join us!

๐ป WOW! RHS SENIOR SET TO RECEIVE INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION! ๐
Senior Kalli Rapp recently received word that the artwork ๐จ she completed for her IB Visual Arts exhibition has been selected for display at the IB Global Conference in July. This year's IB Global Conference will be held in Denver, and the selection committee wrote that they "were truly impressed by the quality" of Kalli's work and want it displayed at the conference for everyone to see and "enrich the cultural and creative experience" for the educators in attendance.
We're so proud of all our IB artists, and this recognition is clear confirmation that Rifle Bears can do amazing things! GO BEARS and GO KALLI RAPP!! ๐ป

๐ป A note from RHS IB Coordinator, Mr. Miller:
Over the past several weeks, IB students at RHS have been working hard to complete their IB exams, and last Friday they completed the last one. These exams represent two years of hard work, growth, stress, perseverance, late nights, early mornings, essay revisions and rewrites, discussions, presentations, and probably some Starbucks study sessions.
They completed one of the most demanding academic programs available while balancing athletics, jobs, activities, family responsibilities, friendships, and simply the challenge of being teenagers in a complicated world. And they've (mostly) done it with smiles on their faces.
What makes me proud isnโt just that they finished the exams. Itโs the people they became in the process: stronger thinkers, better communicators, more reflective learners, and more compassionate human beings.
The IB Diploma Program asks students not just to memorize information, but to think critically, ask difficult questions, wrestle with uncertainty, and engage with the world in meaningful ways. Thatโs hard work. That's what they had to demonstrate on the exams. And they rose to the challenge.
Congratulations to all of our IB students. I know how many of you may be feeling about your experience now (probably glad it's over), but no matter what the score reports say later this summer, you have already accomplished something significant.
Now go sleep for about a week. Youโve earned it. GO BEARS! ๐ป
