🚧 Traffic Alert: Garfield County Fair Parade 🚧

Join us for the 2026 Garfield County Fair Parade on Saturday, August 1, at 10 a.m.! To ensure a safe event, temporary road closures and parking restrictions will be in effect in downtown Rifle.

🚧 Road Closures
7 a.m.–Noon (Parade Staging)
• W. 16th Street from Railroad Avenue to Prefontaine Avenue

9:30 a.m.–Approximately Noon (Parade Route)
• Railroad Avenue from W. 16th Street to Centennial Parkway

🚫 No Parking
No parking along the parade route beginning at 8:30 a.m. Vehicles may be towed.

➡️ Detour: Through traffic should use the Highway 13 Bypass.

✅ Road Update
The W. Third Street/Park Avenue intersection will be open during the parade. Please use caution, as it remains an active construction zone.
W. Second Street remains closed between Tripp Drive and W. Third Street.

🛍️ Downtown businesses will remain open—arrive early if you plan to visit before the parade.
