On Nov 8, 1965, President Lyndon B. Johnson signed into law the Higher Education Act of 1965. This act helped expand the TRIO program by creating Talent Search and a year later Student Support Services. Since then, the Act has helped make higher education more accessible for Americans.
Education is not a luxury or privilege it is a universal right that ALL people should have access to.
