The moment digestion starts acting up, most people go into elimination mode.
Cut gluten.
Cut dairy.
Cut sugar.
Cut carbs.
Cut everything that brings joy. đ
Then when that doesn't work...
They jump into another cleanse.
Another detox.
Another protocol.
But here's the problem:
A struggling digestive system isn't always asking for less food. Sometimes it's asking for more digestive power.
In Ayurveda, digestion is often compared to a fire. When the fire is strong, food is broken down efficiently and your body can actually use the nutrients you're eating.
When the fire is weak, food sits longer than it should, fermentation increases, bloating happens, energy drops, and symptoms start showing up.
Throwing more restrictions at a weak digestive system can sometimes make the problem worse.
Because the goal isn't to fear food. The goal is to improve your body's ability to process it.
Your symptoms aren't random. They're clues.
And digestion is about a lot more than what foods are on your plate.
It's also about stress levels, eating habits, daily rhythms, sleep, and how supported your nervous system feels.

Modern life has convinced us that being constantly busy is normal, but your body disagrees.
The human body was designed to move with rhythms.
Sunrise and sunset.
Activity and rest.
Work and recovery.
Instead, most people are running on adrenaline and calling it productivity, and eventually, the body starts waving red flags.
The problem is we often call those red flags "normal," but they're not. They're communication.

One of the biggest lies in the wellness industry is that if you just eat clean enough, all your symptoms will magically disappear.
If only it were that simple.
I've worked with people who eat organic, buy the fancy supplements, avoid seed oils, drink the green juice... and still feel exhausted, bloated, anxious, inflamed, or completely disconnected from their body.
Why?
Because your body isn't a math equation.
Symptoms aren't just created by food.
They're influenced by stress.
Sleep.
Blood sugar.
Your environment.
Your daily habits.
The pace you're living at.
Sometimes the issue isn't what you're putting into your body.
It's what your body is trying to tell you.
