To our incoming parents- great news!! We had created a project on Donors Choose and it was funded today! Thanks to our generous donors and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, we will now be able to provide and wash our students' blankets! Prek parents will no longer need to purchase a blanket for school, and we won't be sending any laundry home on the weekends!

We apologize if you have already purchased a blanket for the year. Unfortunately, the project was funded after school lists went out. If you did already purchase a blanket, you are still welcome to send it in for your child to keep here for the year.

**Side note- due to COVID we will be limiting items going back-and-forth to the home. Please do not send in "special" blankies that will need to go home. All items will stay at school for the year.**

If you've never heard of Donor's Choose, check it out! It is a way for teachers to fund special projects too big for public school budgets. There are special Match Days throughout the year that are tremendously helpful, which is how this very project was funded!

As of right now, NC Prek will be in-person for the 2020-2021 school year. We will be following NC child care COVID guidelines. If you have a child who will be 4 years-old by August 31, 2020 then please apply quickly so you can be approved by the start of the school year!

NC Prek is now accepting applications! Please use the online form or call 910-655-2957 to apply. If your child is 4 years-old by August 31, 2020, they may qualify for FREE preschool! School begins on August 17th so apply today!
