🤖 Here's what actually happens in RobotMakers!

They design, test, and redesign real working robots, using motors, sensors, and code to solve actual engineering challenges.

Sometimes the robot falls over. Sometimes the claw doesn't grab. That's the whole point, they figure out why and try again.

That's the kind of problem-solving we love to see.

Camp fun keeps going until the end of August!

📚 STEAM enrichment doesn't have to be a summer-only thing.

Our Afterschool Enrichment programs bring robotics, game design, video production, and invention labs directly to schools — fully turnkey. We provide the instructors, materials, and curriculum. Your school just provides the space.

When your community asks for help, you do what you can! 💙🤖

Tuesday night looked a little different at Little Ivy Academy. Instead of kids building robots, their parents came in to learn the ropes themselves!

These awesome volunteers coach the Waldwick AMP and Waldwick Electric robotics teams, and most of them had never built a robot before Tuesday. One of our coaches connected with their team lead and offered to help however we could.

We covered the basics: building and programming a LEGO Spike Prime, how FIRST LEGO League competitions actually work, and a real mission run on our Submerged challenge mat. Then we leveled up with sensors, so their robots could sense and respond to the world around them.

By the end of the night, a room full of first-time builders were troubleshooting, debugging, and cheering each other on like it was their own competition! 🎉

That's what community support looks like to us.

🕺🕵️🤖 Week 2 of camp is officially in the books, and what a week it was!

On our Ridgewood campus, our K-2nd graders turned camp into a global dance floor for GameMakers: Dancing in the Streets, coding animated dance moves with Scratch Jr while exploring music from around the world. While our 3rd-8th graders went undercover for Eyes on Spies: Agents in the Digital World, flying drones and exploring how to identify AI-generated content & digital deepfakes.

Then, at our Montvale campus, our campers engineered working pinball machines and robotic claw games in RobotMakers: Machines at Play.

🌞 Happy Summer Solstice — the longest day of the year!
