Congratulations to Ridgewood Guide, Alex, as she recently completed her Montessori Certificate through Immersion Montessori School's Montessori Diploma program!

Alex originates from Colombia and immigrated to the United States in 1995. During her academic pursuits, she focused on mastering English as a second language. Her involvement with children began within a scout group, where she assumed leadership responsibilities for children aged 3 to 6. Joining Immersion Montessori School Ridgewood in 2022 marked the beginning of her professional journey in early childhood education, primarily working with nursery-age children.

While she does not have children of her own, Alex harbors a deep affection for working with and nurturing young minds. Additionally, her interests extend to botany and zoology, with a particular fondness for dogs.
