🎶 What a fun and memorable day in Pre-K! 🎶

Yesterday, our class had the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful field trip experience with Mr. Root! The children loved singing, moving, learning new songs, and watching Mr. Root rap in a fun and engaging way. 🎤🎵

There were so many smiles, laughs, and moments of learning through music. We are so thankful for opportunities like these that make learning exciting and memorable for our little learners! 💚🌱

I am so humbled and so blessed. This week has absolutely overwhelmed my heart. I have been showered with breakfast, coffee, sweet gifts, kind words, hugs, cards, and so much appreciation from my pre-K families. Today, I opened a card from one of my daycare families that simply said, “Thanks for being someone we can depend on. We hope you know how important that is to us.” Inside was a gift that truly brought me to tears.

People do not always realize how much love, time, energy, patience, and heart goes into caring for and teaching children every single day. To feel seen, appreciated, trusted, and loved in return means more to me than words can ever explain.

I am beyond grateful for every family that trusts me with their children, supports me, encourages me, and reminds me why I have dedicated my life to this work for the past 29 years. These children become part of my heart forever.

Thank you for every kind gesture this week. I will never forget how loved and appreciated you all made me feel. My heart is so full. ❤️

“We need 4 hugs a day for survival.”
“We need 8 hugs a day for maintenance.”
“We need 12 hugs a day for growth.”

I am blessed that I get over my quota from my littles daily.

Today our Pre-K class had a wonderful time at a small petting zoo! The children got to interact with horses, goats, ducks, rabbits, chickens, and more. They especially loved brushing the horses’ manes and adding fun hair pieces.

It was a day full of smiles, hands-on learning, and great memories. The kids had an amazing time!

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week, and today my aide and I were surprised with breakfast, coffee, and a cookie from one of our amazing parents. Such a thoughtful gesture, and it truly meant a lot.

Please take a moment this week to thank a teacher. We do so much behind the scenes and often work well beyond a typical 9–5. It doesn’t have to be anything big—have your child make a card or simply say “thank you.”

Teachers work hard all year to support, guide, and instill strong values in their students, even on the toughest days. A little appreciation goes a long way.

Last night, we hosted a Pete the Cat Perfect Pizza Party, and it was a wonderful evening of learning, laughter, and family fun!
We read Pete the Cat and the Perfect Pizza Party together, then brought the story to life by enjoying pizza and trying all the fun toppings Pete suggested in the book. The children were so excited to taste and explore new combinations!
This was also our Parent Involvement Night, and we were happy to have 5 out of our 12 families join us. Your presence truly makes a difference, and we appreciate the time you spend engaging in your child’s learning experiences.
To make the night even more special, each child went home with their own Pete the Cat book to share and enjoy with their families.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening so memorable. We look forward to more opportunities to learn and grow together!

Today we celebrated Earth Day with a full day of hands-on learning and creativity. The children explored a fun science experiment, learned the letter W for “World,” and talked about how we can take care of our planet.

We expressed our creativity with arts and crafts using green and blue paints to create our own Earth-inspired masterpieces, and we ended the day by making delicious Earth Day cookies.

A wonderful day of learning, discovery, and celebrating the world around us.
