Community News: Lowcountry Autism Foundation AID Rollout in Jasper County

The Lowcountry Autism Foundation is hosting an LAF AID Rollout in Jasper County, giving families an opportunity to learn more about a free program designed to help law enforcement and first responders better identify and assist individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

📍 Jasper County Farmers Market
9935 South Jacob Smart Blvd., Ridgeland, SC

The LAF AID program provides personalized identification for children and adults with autism, helping first responders identify them if they become lost or an emergency situation occurs.

The event is also an opportunity for families to connect with local law enforcement and first responders and learn more about the program.

Do you have a passion for helping students succeed? Jasper County School District is looking for After-School Academic and Student Support Tutors to provide academic support and supervision for students in grades K–12.

⏰ Part-time: 2:00–6:00 p.m., school days
📍 Locations: Ridgeland and Hardeeville campuses
🎓 Retired educators and certified educators are encouraged to apply!

Tutors will help students with homework, intervention and enrichment activities while creating a safe, positive environment for learning.
