The sun will be shinning on Monday, July 19th come join us at Keeler Tavern. Music at the Museum will feature Cara Quartet @ 6:30PM. Their performances showcase diverse works for flute, violin, viola, and cello. Enjoy the classical music pieces by Mozart, Sklar, Handel, Villa-Lobos, Rosenkrantz, and De Abreu.

We are closely monitoring the news of COVID-19. We are keeping up to date with the CT Department of Health and CDC regarding proactive and preventative measures. That being said, Sharps and Flats is a small business and we are not in a position to close our doors. However, we will continue to embrace our role in the music community and remain open as long as that is the safe and responsible thing to do.
In order to ensure the health and safety of our customers and staff, we are taking the following precautions:

1. Disinfecting our pianos and common surfaces after every lesson.

2. Teachers are insisting students wash their hands before each lesson and they are doing the same.

3. Door handles and common area surfaces are being cleaned every hour and when it is busy, we will do it as frequently as possible.

4. All of our rooms have hand sanitizer and Clorox wipes available.

5. We have removed all communal toys.

6. Staff with any form of cold will be staying home.

7. We are also providing Skype or Facetime lessons for those of you who prefer to stay home. With many schools now closed, we have the ability to be more flexible with our schedule and if you would prefer to come in for your lessons during a slower time, we can accommodate that as well.

8. At this point, we are canceling our March recital. We will offer a virtual recital (via Facebook streaming or a private Youtube channel.) More information will be provided once we are able to finalize the details.

It is our hope that you will continue to support local businesses in a safe, responsible, and enjoyable way.

Kris was a talented musician, wonderful teacher, and a uniquely kind and loving friend. We miss him deeply.
