The winners are in! Bach to Rock is proud to announce the champions of its Sixth Annual National Battle of the Bands competition. After local and regional rounds, student bands from across the country competed for national honors in four divisions: elementary school, two middle school divisions and high school, judged by a panel of music industry professionals. More than 7,700 fan votes also helped select a fan favorite in each division.

At 13, Owen picked up his first guitar just 18 months ago and hasn't looked back. With instructor Luke at Bach to Rock in Indiana, he mastered alternate picking, performed a Metallica cover on a real stage, and within four months joined B2R band Mortal Wombats.

"Owen has grown beyond our wildest expectations," says his dad Jason.
