Happy Holidays from the Co-Op

The Ridgefield Park Cooperative Nursery had their Back to School Meet and Greet today. Students were invited to explore our playground and engage in play with other students. They were able to meet their teachers and make new friends. This gives each child/parent a greater ease when coming in to school on the first day.
This year, however, is extra special. The Ridgefield Park Cooperative Nursery will be joining with the Ridgefield Park Public Schools in their preschool program. We are very excited for this wonderful opportunity. We know that working together we can help every child to receive early education and this in return will greatly impact our community.

Dear RP Parents -
For this year's Thanksgiving Fundraiser you can order through this link https://forms.gle/h3BEeBdbL7tnTVzK8
As we turn the corner into the holidays we're all looking forward to sharing wonderful meals and wonderful memories with family and loved ones. Our kids are making wonderful memories at RP Coop and for many of them attending school for the first time it will also be the first year of having awesome experiences and stories of their own to share at the dinner table! Unfortunately, our school's finances aren't strong. At the start of the school year Ms. Amra shared the difficulties of reopening after COVID and revealed our school's paltry funds. We are the parent-caretakers whose kids might lack some funds for memories that kids before them enjoyed. In truth, we might end up the parent-caretakers that fail to keep this amazing 49-year-old organization alive for future kids to make their own memories. But we won't let that happen without a fight. In fact, I pledge to do what I can to not only keep the school alive, but to end the year with it thriving and ready to welcome our kids back again next year.
This year's fund-raising events are more important than ever. Our board is working hard together with Ms. Brianne, Ms. Donna, and many of you to make this year's fund raising some of the best we've ever had. We're partnering with local businesses and patrons that care as much about our organization as we do. As we all prepare for excellent meals, I urge you to invite your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers (and for the bold among you, even strangers!) to bring along some of the delicious desserts in this year's Thanksgiving Fundraiser to their holiday meals. Whether they're hosting or visiting, our desserts will be a delicious addition and at the same time they'll be helping ensure the continuation of one of our town's most valued treasures - the Coop Nursery.
We're RP Coop Parents and we're working toward a common goal: great education.
Regards,
Angie C. Ciobotaru
