Bullying prevention starts with each of us. Whether it’s including someone who feels left out, standing up for a friend, or speaking up when something isn’t right, even small actions can make a big difference.

Happy Week of the School Administrator to our amazing principal, Mrs. MacKenzie!

Mrs. MacKenzie has the biggest heart and leads with students at the center of everything she does. She is a fierce advocate for our Gators, always working to make sure their needs are heard, supported, and met. She cares deeply about our students, our staff, and the Gateway community as a whole.

We’re also grateful for the support she gives her staff. Having a leader who listens, advocates for her team, and genuinely cares makes such a difference.

🎃🌻 Life at Gateway: Pumpkin Jack!

Our first graders are bringing the story of Pumpkin Jack to life! After reading the story together, all of first grade carved a Pumpkin Jack and placed him in a sealed container outside alongside their growing sunflowers.

Now the science adventure begins! 🌱 Our Gators will observe how Pumpkin Jack changes over time as we explore decomposition and the life cycle of plants.

🚒 A thank-you for our community heroes!

After having to postpone our Water Day in May due to weather, our amazing fire department helped make our redo extra special! Our Gators and staff all signed a thank-you poster to show just how much we appreciate them coming out and making a splash with us.

Thank you for showing up for our students and helping create such a fun Gateway memory year after year! 🐊

Construction is officially underway for our new playground, and our Gators are already so excited to see it taking shape!

As the work gets started, please remind students to stay away from the construction fencing so we can keep everyone safe while our new playground is being built.
