We had our hybrid meeting on October 7th, 2026. We mark and Daisy as our guests. The theme of the meeting was "AUtumn Harvest". We had Diana Eggleon, gave us a speech about the summary of the "Relay for Life" event with our club as a team. Don Beene gave us a speech about his leadership Style. Two vey good speeches. Our guest Mark won the Table Topics. Our own Brian Wall won the Table Topics competition. Our next meeting will be a hybrid meeting on October 14th, 2026 at 6pm. Our next meeting will be on October 8th (Thursday) for our Kiwanis meeting at the Pizza Factory (1601 Triangle Dr, Ridgecrest, CA 93555) around 5:30pm. We will be meeting in the side room. We will be discussing the past events and future events (Trunk or Treat, Bell ringing, and others). You are all welcome to help us to serve the community. Please come and join us. Thanks!

We had our online meeting on September 30th, 2026. Some members were not present. However, we had a great meeting. The theme of the meeting was "Fall Outdoor Adventures". Our very own Diana Eggleon, gave us a speech about the preparations of the upcoming "Relay for Life" event with our club as a team. Very detailed process. More photos. Ridgecrest Possibilitarians participated in the October 3rd Relay for Life event from 10 AM to 10 PM. The team name was “Toastmasters…Somewhere over the Podium…A Cure!”
Team members included Brian & Gabriella Wall; Jackie Sze; Cyndi Liang; Icy Wei; Li -Wen Liu; Denali St. Amand; Dulce Romero, Immanuel, Elias, & Elan Romero-Urbana; Emmalyn Romero-Eggleton; & Andy, Diana, & Allan Eggleton. Also, Toastmaster Don Beene was actively encouraging.
The walk at Kerr-McGee/City Hall Complex was brutally 🥵 hot. All walkers sported white decorated Toastmaster Team T-Shirts.
The team donated a “Somewhere Over the Cauldron” themed gift 🎁 gift basket 🧺 to a Cancer survivor raffle ticket 🎟️ winner.
Two team participants successfully gave blood through Houchin’s on-site mobile blood bank during the day.
Jackie Sze logged 90 laps.
Although they didn’t sell many snacks at their booth, The team raised over $2,000.00 for the American Cancer Society.
The Relay was fun & the team enjoyed walking & talking to promote cancer awareness. Thanks to all who partipated & donated!
