93ZRT Great to have you apart of our community!
There’s something pretty special about sitting in a radio studio and realizing that after all these years, I still love this just as much as I did on my very first day. ❤️📻
Radio has given me an amazing career—one filled with incredible memories, lifelong friendships, great music, plenty of crazy moments, and the privilege of being part of people’s lives. Sometimes it’s just a song. Sometimes it’s a laugh on a bad day. Sometimes it’s simply having a familiar voice there when you need one.
And after spending so many years working in this industry, I’ve reached a milestone that means more to me than I can probably put into words: I’m incredibly honored and proud to have built and now own my very first radio station—93 ZRT.
There’s something different about building a station from the ground up. Every piece of equipment, every song, every promotion, every advertiser, every listener and every decision becomes personal. 93 ZRT isn’t just a radio station to me. It’s the culmination of a career and a dream that took many years to get here.
But while I’ll always love traditional radio, I’m just as excited about where radio is going. Our streaming platforms, social media, our app, and the digital content we’re creating are allowing 93 ZRT to reach people in ways I never could have imagined when I first sat behind a microphone. Today, “local radio” doesn’t have to mean a signal that stops at the edge of town. We can be local at heart and still be heard around the world—and that’s incredibly exciting.
But none of it happens without YOU.
To everyone who listens to 93 ZRT, streams us, downloads the app, follows and interacts with us on social media, shares our content, tells a friend, sends a message, makes a request, or simply keeps us playing in the background of your day—thank you.
And to the local businesses that continue to advertise with us and believe in the power of LOCAL RADIO—thank you for trusting us with your name, your business and your message. Your support doesn’t just buy commercials. It helps keep independent, local radio alive and gives us the opportunity to keep growing across radio, streaming, social media and digital.
The technology has changed.
The equipment has changed.
The music has changed.
And the way people listen has definitely changed.
But that feeling when the microphone turns on?
That hasn’t changed one bit.
I’m incredibly proud of the career I’ve been fortunate enough to have, proud of the station we’re building, and maybe most importantly, grateful that after all these years I still get excited about radio.
So here’s to the listeners, the local businesses, the music, the memories, the people I’ve had the privilege of working with along the way—and to an exciting future that goes far beyond the radio dial.
Thank you for believing in local radio. Thank you for believing in 93 ZRT. And thank you for helping a longtime radio guy finally build a station he can call his own. ❤️📻
93 ZRT — Retro Hits. Local at heart. Heard everywhere. And still loving every minute of it.
