Hello Wildcat Families,

We are hosting a Military and First Responder Appreciation Night, at our home football game on October 2nd, to honor the brave men and women who keep our community safe and secure.

We want to show our deep gratitude by giving them special appreciation gift baskets during the event. We are asking for basket donations from our Wildcat Family to help make this possible. Basket ideas can include: tailgate grilling kit, BBQ rubs, movie night, coffee lover’s, NU fan gear, cooler/lawn chairs, co****le, bluetooth speaker, red/white/blue americana/American flag, gift cards…just to name a few. Feel free to include a handwritten thank you note for the veteran/first responder who will receive your basket.

Where: North Union High School Main Office
When: Monday - Friday 8:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Deadline for Donations: Wednesday, September 30, 2026

Being named an American Star Finalist is one of the highest honors an FFA member can achieve. It recognizes members who have developed an outstanding SAE, demonstrated exceptional leadership, and made a meaningful impact through agricultural experiences and their communities.

This event it going to be HUGE! We are excited to be part of this celebration as it will be hosted on our North Union Middle School Campus. Add this to your 📅!

Are you wondering what this is about? A once-in-a-lifetime event in Richwood to honor ALL Northern Union County Military (Veterans and active duty), law enforcement, fire fighters, emergency medical services (EMS) and others who HELP during emergency situations! Think of this as "touch-a-truck" on steroids! It's not just for kids! As adults - you've ALL been touched in one way or another by any one (or all) of these men and women who serve our community! This will an opportunity for you to tell THEM "THANKS". More on who and what is going to be there very soon. It's a short event (3 hours) and we don't want you to miss it!!!!! Celebrate the Heroes Among Us! event will not disappoint! We ask you to SHARE!
