Happy Indigenous People Month! During the month of November, we celebrate and recognize the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of Indigenous people.

Lil Sproutlets would like to acknowledge what native land our business sits on.

The Village sits astride the famous Sauk Trail which was used by the SAUK and POTTAWATOMIE tribes for moving between settlements and sacred areas stretching all the way from the Mississippi around the Rock Island area all the way to what is now Ottowa, Canada.

The SAUK tribal color is yellow. 💛
The POTAWATOMI tribal colors are yellow, red, black, and white.💛❤️🖤🤍

We hope you, too, will research and learn more about Indigenous people's heritage this month. 💛
