If all we have are healthy systems and organizational methods, we build the church in vain (Palm 127:1).
I’m weary of man’s methods. We need God’s methods.

The shift was subtle… but the impact has been massive.

Somewhere along the way, the church traded the heart of a shepherd for the mindset of a CEO. Metrics replaced presence. Platforms replaced people. Power started to matter more than proximity.

But when leadership stops looking like Jesus, it doesn’t just drift—it distorts.

Jesus didn’t lead from a distance. He knelt. He listened. He laid down His life.

If our leadership requires less humility, less accountability, and less care for the vulnerable… it might not be leadership worth following.

We don’t need better CEOs in the church.
We need leaders who actually look like Christ.
