The Purdue University Equestrian Teams and Boots and Bridles Club are dedicated to providing a competitive, social, and educational atmosphere to any student with an The Boots and Bridles Club is a fun place for those who wish to learn about the different aspects of the equine industry. The Boots and Bridles Club will help students who want to learn about the equine industry gain the insight they

want in fun and exciting ways. The competition teams have two disciplines a Western and English side. The competition teams have levels from Beginner to Open/Advance. The requirements for the competition teams are to be a full time undergrad student in good academic standing, No previous horse experience is needed and students do not need to own their own horse. A big Congratulations to Kim on her ride today!!! Though it was not enough to get to nationals it was still a great accomplishment to make from Regionals in Indiana to Semi-finals in Ocala Florida. We are so proud of all your accomplishments!!! Also a great big thank you to Coach Kitty Rex on all the work that you do for our riders from lessons to help everyone at shows and so much more!!! We would not be where we are with out you! A little late but a great run from the Western Team in Regionals on Feb. 24th !! Congratulations to Vick who qualified for regionals and who competed against 12 other regional qualifiers on the Intermediate Horsemanship class! Also a Congratulations to Kim from the Western Team on winning the Alumni Horsemanship class and qualifying for Semi-Finals in Ocala Florida!!!

Both riders have worked super hard this year to qualify for regionals and have each met personal riding goals this year!!

We look forward to seeing what Kim does in Florida as well as our English Team is competing in Zones here shortly to see if any qualify for Semi-finals! We wish our English Team the best of luck and know you all will do your best!!
