Greetings from D.C.! 🚌🏙️ Even though most of our staff are attending the HRSA National Ryan White Conference virtually, we have a few who were able to attend in-person. Pictured is RW Case Manager Pierre D. photographed next to Jeanne White-Ginder, Ryan White’s mother. During this session she shared her and her son’s story of fighting stigma, finding care and creating a supportive community for all those living with HIV. Though Ryan White is no longer with us, his story still lives on in her advocacy and the work our program does everyday to create a safe and nurturing environment for people living with HIV.
It’s incredible Pierre got to meet such an amazing icon!

This week is the National Ryan White Conference! Staff who were not able to attend in person have been catching up on all of the great virtual sessions on the agenda!
Today we watched a special session featuring Jeanne White-Ginder, prominent educator, activist and the mother of Ryan White. She led a great session sharing his story, why she continues the work she does and why it is important to educate our communities and stand together in the fight for HIV support, care and services for all.
