🚑 NEW FROM GARRARD COUNTY EMS: Emergency Medical Information Form

When an emergency happens, you may not be able to answer our questions—and sometimes the person calling 911 doesn't know your medical history either.

That's why Garrard County EMS has created a free Emergency Medical Information Form for our community.

Print it, fill it out, and keep it on your refrigerator where emergency responders can easily find it. The form provides important information such as:

💊 Current medications
🩸 Blood thinner use
⚠️ Medication and other allergies
🫁 Home oxygen and other medical equipment
📋 DNR/MOST information
📞 Emergency contact information
➕ Other information that may help us care for you

We do not collect or store this information. The completed form stays with you in your home and is available if it's ever needed during an emergency.

We'll also have printed copies available from our crews and at community events.

Consider filling one out for yourself—and help a parent, grandparent, family member, or neighbor complete one too.

A few minutes today could give emergency responders valuable information when every minute matters.

🚑✈️ TEMSEA IS RETURNING TO LONDON! 🇬🇧

What if your next EMS learning experience took you across the Atlantic?

TEMSEA is excited to facilitate an unforgettable Study Abroad experience in London, England, March 6–13, 2027! This isn’t your typical conference or continuing education course. Participants will have the opportunity to experience healthcare and EMS from an entirely new perspective, including learning about the UK healthcare system, paramedic education, advanced paramedic roles, mental health integration, and disaster preparedness.

And perhaps the most exciting part? Participants will have the opportunity to complete a clinical observation experience alongside a London Ambulance Service, seeing firsthand how emergency care is delivered in one of the world’s most dynamic cities.

The experience will also include visits to St George’s University, a guided medical history walking tour, and opportunities to explore some of London’s most iconic cultural and educational destinations.
