Bushin Martial Arts Jiu-Jitsu Richmond We are honored to be an International Division Dojo Member of the Dai Nippon Butoku Kai, under the leadership of Dr. Hamada, Hanshi - Bushin Kan Dojo USA.

Self-defense instruction and curriculum programs for children (starting age of 5), teens, women and men by utilizing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Shorin-Ken Karate-do. At Bushin Martial Arts | Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Richmond, we feel that being a well-rounded martial artist cannot be accomplished by learning techniques alone, thus we incorporate the principles and values of traditional martial arts self-defe

nse training into our curriculum as well. Aside from learning some of the most effective, street-proven self-defense techniques available today from the Gracie Jiu-jitsu and Shorin-Ken Karatedo, our students are also trained to develop the mind, body, and spirit for children (ages 5 & up), women & men. Previous martial arts experience is not required to participate and all levels are welcome to our safe, family-friendly, ego-less and fun learning environment martial arts school. We are the only school within the Richmond VA and surrounding area that is a Gracie Jiu-jitsu Level 4 Certified Training Center (CTC), approved by the Gracie Jiu-jitsu University from Torrance California. Our Self-Defense Programs:
- Gracie BullyProof: age 5 & 13
- Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Combatives: age 14 & up
- Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Master Cycle: GJJ Combatives belt & up
- Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Women Empowered: age 13 & up
- Shorin-Ken Karatedo / Shorin Chishin Ryu Heiho: age 7 & up.
