e Richmond Community Schools calendar for holidays, vacations, and closings for inclement weather. Adult Education Indiana High School Equivalency (GED) Diploma graduates are recognized at the annual commencement exercise held in May at Civic Hall Performing Arts Center.

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week, and we are so grateful for our Adult Education teachers and staff. They are passionate about nurturing--and pushing--our students to reach their goals. What can you do in 2 and a 1/2 days? These are some of the fantastic students of our first Boot Camp who earned their diploma in that short of time! They bravely came, studied really hard, ate a bunch (thanks to a grant from Whitewater Valley REMC), tested, laughed and cried tears of joy together. These people were the best, and it was such a joy to us at Richmond Adult Education to walk through this with them.
