Learning in Action!

Intervention and enrichment time at PGE is all about meeting students where they are and helping them grow! Our students are actively engaged as they apply their learning through digital applications, collaborate with teachers in small groups, and work on targeted TEKS.

Whether they are strengthening a skill, extending their thinking, or getting extra practice, our Cougar Cubs are making every minute count!

✏️💙 Learning with the littles!
Our Pre-K friends are on an exciting journey as they learn to recognize and identify the letters in their names, learn to color in the lines and use scissors! From spotting familiar letters to practicing writing them, every little discovery is a BIG step toward becoming confident readers and writers.

We love watching our youngest Cougar Cubs learn, grow, and make their mark each day! 🐾💫

🌟 PGE PTO, you ROAR! 🐾💙

Our amazing PGE PTO is making sure our staff feel appreciated and our Cougar Cubs have plenty of reasons to celebrate! 🎉
From providing snacks to keep our staff fueled to stocking our Treasure Box with fun rewards for our Cougar Cubs, PTO continues to support our school in so many thoughtful ways.

Celebrating Our 3rd (now 4th) Grade Math Team and students.

A HUGE shoutout to our 3rd Grade Teachers for their outstanding work in Math.

Our 3rd graders earned an incredible 41% Masters Grade Level on STAAR Math, placing Pecan Grove Elementary in the Top Quartile (Q1) for this indicator!

This achievement reflects the intentional planning, strong instruction, high expectations, and dedication our 3rd grade team brings to students every single day.

Our teachers are leaning in and learning together!

During the past two days of Professional Learning Team meetings, our teachers were actively analyzing data, identifying student needs, planning purposeful instruction, and designing interventions to help every Cougar Cub grow.

This is what collaboration and a commitment to student success looks like! When teachers work together with intention, our students benefit. We are proud of the work happening behind the scenes to move learning forward on our Journey to Greatness! 🐾

🔬🧪 Third Grade Scientists in Action! 🧪🔬

Our third graders are putting on their scientist hats as they investigate: How can we observe, test, and measure physical properties?

Through hands-on exploration, our scientists are making observations, conducting tests, taking measurements, and using evidence to deepen their understanding of the world around them.
