Ambassador Huckabee invokes Genesis to defend Zionism. This article discusses the Darby-Scofield misreading and the Catholic alternative: promises fulfilled in Christ and the Church, not Christian Zionist geopolitics.

Catholic critique of Huckabee’s Christian Zionism: Darby-Scofield roots, misread Genesis promises, and the Church’s Christ-centered, continuity-based alternative explained.

The statement is often made that because the Blessed Trinity is a mystery, therefore we can know nothing about it. Being, furthermore, the profoundest mystery in God, it is assumed by many preachers and teachers that it is the one phase of God we must dismiss without discussion. All this I deny. God would not have revealed the mystery to us if this were so. … A mystery is not a fact about which we can know nothing. It is a fact about which we cannot know everything. But the deeper we plunge, the more we learn. The ultimate veil will be removed from our minds only in the Beatific Vision. But veil by veil we can go tearing and plunging in the direction of that sunlight which is dimly, but surely, seeping through.

In this Ad Rem, I propose to outline five things you can know about the Trinity.

Learn five clear truths about the Holy Trinity: one essence, two processions, three persons, four relations, five notions, for Catholics.

In the five miracles discussed in that video, the accidents (appearances, species) of bread and wine are replaced, not by the total reality of what is present (the whole, glorified Christ), but by the accidents of one part of Christ’s Body — and that, in only one state, the living state just before the Sacrifice is consummated in Jesus’ death on the Cross. But, we should not get the idea that what is truly present under the sacramental veils is only cardiac tissue (and that, exclusively from the left ventricle), because such a conclusion would actually contradict the doctrine of the Council of Trent on Christ’s total presence in the Eucharist.

Again, we must emphasize that the Blessed Eucharist is the “whole Christ”; there is not one part of Him “left out.” Because of that, if the sacramental veils were lifted entirely and the sublime Reality that they conceal is depicted “in His proper species” (as Saint Thomas Aquinas would say), we would be seeing the glorified Jesus in majesty: not any part or parts of Him, but all of His beautiful Self at once! But He is only in His proper species in Heaven — where He is seated at the right hand of the Father.

Examines Eucharistic miracles’ heart tissue findings and AB+ blood claims, explaining how suffering appearances signify Calvary while Christ remains glorified.

What is being argued is this: if we use the word “Church” to mean the Mystical Body considered in its concrete, temporally-bound external form — and by form we understand the philosophic concept of visible aspect or appearance; its imago ex se — if we accept that the word “Church” can really mean that, then it becomes an easy matter to suggest that the Church looked different in Adam’s day than it does in ours. The Church’s external form changed over time. That is all.

But what a change. Think of a caterpillar coming out of its chrysalis. Suddenly, the little worm that once crawled around consuming foliage has exquisitely beautiful wings and flies daintily through the air in search of flower nectar. What happened? Did the caterpillar change? Ostensibly, yes. But it is more accurate to say that the accidental form of caterpillar was discarded, and the butterfly’s true form was revealed. Now we can see the creature for what it is in its essence.

Is this not what happened to the Church at Pentecost? She existed ab initio, from the beginning. She existed in her current exquisitely beautiful form from Pentecost. And even after Pentecost, her external form is still developing, is it not? Only in Heaven will even the butterfly form of the Church be changed. She will be an eagle. She will be like to Him because She will see Him as He is.

Defends the Catholic dogma “no salvation outside the Church” from Genesis, showing the Mystical Body and Christ’s primacy present from creation onward.

The World awoke on January 3, 2026 to find that the United States’ armed forces had attacked Venezuela’s capital city of Caracas, and taken the country’s de facto president, Nicolas Maduro, prisoner. I say de facto because the legitimacy of the election that returned him to power has been denied by a great many foreign nations, including our own. He was indicted by an American Court for Narco-Trafficking. On that basis, the administration maintains that it was not necessary to inform Congress about the military plans because it involved the arrest of a drug trafficker rather than an attack on a sovereign nation. As of this moment, all sorts of concerned American politicians and mediosi are talking about every aspect of the event, as are the various foreign governments and multinational organisations.

Without waiting to find out how its shall all play out, it must be bourne in mind that the United States have a long history of intervention in Venezuela and Latin America as a whole. In November of 2025, the Trump administration issued a document entitled National Security Strategy of the United States of America. It is essential reading for anyone who wishes to understand Mr. Trump’s actions in the future. As regards this hemisphere, its coverage begins: “After years of neglect, the United States will reassert and enforce the Monroe Doctrine to restore American preeminence in the Western Hemisphere, and to protect our homeland and our access to key geographies throughout the region. We will deny non-Hemispheric competitors the ability to position forces or other threatening capabilities, or to own or control strategically vital assets, in our Hemisphere. This ‘Trump Corollary’ to the Monroe Doctrine is a common-sense and potent restoration of American power and priorities, consistent with American security interests.”

To understand fully both the Monroe Doctrine and the context of our relationship with Latin America, we must go back in time — 250 years, in fact, to the foundation of the United States. ...

A provocative history of U.S. intervention in Latin America, from Monroe Doctrine to Venezuela, questioning empire, sovereignty, and stability today.

A millennium after Bolesław Chrobry’s coronation, Tomasz Goździk argues Poland’s Catholic statehood, sovereignty, and identity demand revival against modern amnesia.

The O Antiphons are seven short liturgical texts that are used in the Roman Church’s evening office of Vespers from December 17 till December 23. They are called in the liturgy, the Antiphonæ majores, or “Greater Antiphons,” and the days upon which they fall are called the “Greater Ferias.” Their precise placement in the Office of Vespers is that they are sung before and after the Magnficat, Our Lady’s Canticle, which is always sung at Vespers, but whose antiphons change depending on the liturgy of the day — whether that day be a Sunday, a saint’s feast, etc.

The O Antiphons are the vehement outpourings of the heart of the Church begging her Bridegroom, Jesus, to come at Christmas. Dom Guéranger points out that their placement at the Magnificat is most appropriate because Jesus came to us through Mary and through Mary we beg Him to come again.

They were a fixed part of the Roman Liturgy by the eighth century, but their origin goes back further. The Catholic philosopher, Boethius (c. 480-524), made a passing reference to them (it is said), which would put their origin back to the late fifth or early sixth century. Herbert Thurston believes that they were part of the Roman Church’s worship by the time of Pope Gregory the Great (+604).

Here are the texts, the chant, and my commentaries on each of the O Antiphons:
