🐾 Greetings RHSA Bulldogs PTSA Members & Families! 🐾
I hope everyone had a fantastic summer, filled with rest, laughter, and quality time with loved ones.
It’s time to turn the page and start an exciting new chapter at Richmond High School for the Arts! My name is Tisha Erby, and I am honored and proud to serve as your PTSA President for the 2025–2026 school year.
This is not just another school year,it’s a year of momentum, pride, and preparation as we continue building toward our brand-new school home in 2026. And the PTSA is here to make sure every student, family, and staff member feels the power of that Bulldog spirit every single day.
That’s why I’m inviting YOU to our 1st PTSA meeting of the year:
📅 Date: Monday, August 25th, 2025
🕔 Time: 5:00 PM
📍 Location: RHSA Cafeteria A (Door #7)
This will be our Welcome Meeting, a chance to meet, connect, and roll up our sleeves to start planning for a year full of events, celebrations, fundraisers, and opportunities to make an impact.
Why You Should Be There:
Because the PTSA is where voices become action. This is where we…
✅ Plan programs that support our students academically, socially, and emotionally
✅ Show our teachers and staff how much they’re appreciated
✅ Build school spirit through events that bring families, students, teachers and the community together
✅ Advocate for the needs of our school and our children
✅ Raise funds for the “extras” that make a BIG difference, like student activities, classroom supplies, sports, arts, and field trips
Whether you are a parent, guardian, student, teacher, alumni, or community supporter, you belong here. We welcome every skill, every idea, and every helping hand. You don’t need to commit to every meeting or every event, just come, be informed, get involved where you can, and know that your contribution matters.
This year, our PTSA will also focus on:
🌟 Parents & Students Engagement – More opportunities for our students to lead, shine, and be celebrated.
🌟 Teacher & Staff Appreciation – Finding new ways to say “thank you” to those who give so much.
🌟 Community Partnerships – Connecting with local businesses, leaders, and neighbors to strengthen our school.
🌟 School Pride & Spirit – Making sure Bulldogs are seen and heard all over the city!
So mark your calendar, and if you can, it’s not mandatory but wear your red, white, and blue, and join us on Monday August 25th. Let’s fill Cafeteria A with Bulldog pride and energy and kick off a year, we will ALL remember.
Together, we are more than a school, we are a family, and when Bulldogs unite, there’s nothing we can’t accomplish.
I can’t wait to see you there!
