Low Light Pistol Course 🔥

The National Defense Low Light Pistol Course teaches intermediate shooters on
how to shoot while utilizing a semi-automatic pistol with a light and groom them for run and gun courses. The fundamentals covered within this course are as follows:

💥Lighting Techniques
💥Low Light/No Light Shooting Drills

Through a crawl, walk and run phase, this course will provide intermediate
shooters with an in depth look on how to manipulate a firearm safely and
effectively. This course is NOT a foundations course and requires shooters to already have prior knowledge on safety fundamentals and how to operate their
own firearm.

Stance
-
“Are you comfortable? Are you stable? Good. Now I’m going to check your stability and add some forward pressure in front of your trigger guard with my hand. If you move, readjust to combat that opposing force. If you’re solid, then I have nothing to teach you on this subject.”

There are certain things to go into detail on when instructing, but overcomplicating the basics doesn’t do anyone good. Stance is simple. Be comfortable (if possible), but ultimately be stable. We teach this because the situation you’re in will dictate your stance.

Are you on a hill side? Are you on rough terrain with large rocks? Are you standing, kneeling or laying on a surface that is anything but flat? With all platforms in any situation, just be comfortable (if you can) and be stable. We’re all built differently, so do what works for you.

The National Defense Training Inc. Level 2 Pistol Course is an intermediate course that was created to begin implementing more advanced skillsets with a pistol. Our students will gain an in-depth understanding of how to operate a firearm safely and effectively while being provided quality training on how to operate with their pistol through complex situations.

U.S. Naval Sea Cadets

This past weekend we were awarded the opportunity to pass on some marksmanship knowledge over to a fine young group of men and woman that are part of the U.S. Navy Sea Cadets program.
