It’s funny how much easier it can be to believe in someone else’s creativity than our own.
In this Uke Camp conversation, I sat down with former camper Ellen Express Yourself Arts by Ellen Rebecca Geis who is a creative coach herself. She’s wonderful at holding space for other people—but when it came to her own creative expression, there was a much louder voice in the room:

We talked about her epic self realizations during last Uke Camp, how experiences from when we’re younger can make us self-conscious about creating, and how those old stories can stick around long after we’ve grown into confident, capable adults.
Sometimes creativity isn’t about learning how to make something.
It’s about learning that you’re allowed to.
