Breakfast will be served tomorrow, and FLIK Dining will serve a hot lunch with paper products and plastic utensils; however, if you would like to send a lunch from home, you may do so.

Upper School students will have some virtual coursework to complete on Thursday. Additional information will be emailed to Upper School students shortly.
We will provide an update on plans for Friday, January 10 sometime tomorrow. Thank you for your continued grace and patience.

Merry Christmas, Saints! We hope you have a peaceful and joyous holiday break. We'll see you back on campus in 2025!
Our student-artists brought so much joy to the community this holiday season. We are so proud of Carter L. '28 who dazzled audiences as the Prince in The Nutcracker .

Our eighth grade students are learning about smart messaging and communication in the age of social media!
Last week, students in Mrs. Dion and Dr. Sarah Mansfield's Leadership and Communication class broke into groups, discussed ideas and workshopped a post on a topic they'd studied this year. Congratulations to Asher A., Grant C., and Zavier L. for their winning post below:
"Speaking in public terrifies me. Glossophobia, or the fear of speaking in public, is one of the most common phobias in the United States.
What would you do if you had to speak in front of a thousand people you don't know? That's what we're learning in the Leadership and Communications class. Over the last seven weeks, we've discussed six communication traits that show confidence and courage when talking in public, including poise, voice, life, speed, eye contact, and gestures." Good job, boys!
It was great having Mollie Reinhart, founder of Befriend talk to our eighth grade boys in their EngageRVA class last week! Reinhart's group builds connections and friendships between people across Richmond from all walks of life. "Befriend is there for everybody," said Reinhart. "It serves as a spark for people to have the confidence to meet other people, to really have a full life." The group holds meetups, walks, and community clean-up projects around the city where anyone is welcome to join.
The spark behind the Befriend Movement goes back to Christmas 2017 and Reinhart's work with the city, when she was introduced to a mother who needed support during the holidays. Despite the differences in their lives, the two made a connection, providing the impetus for the nonprofit’s work. That chance meeting turned into a grassroots movement, and this summer, the group officially was registered as a 501c3 organization.
During her visit to StC's Middle School, Reinhart encouraged the boys to be open to people from all backgrounds and hear their stories. "I find that other people always teach me something that brings us closer together. We're all much more alike than we are different," said Reinhart.
It was so great seeing all the Saints families at Winter Wonderland this morning! We'd like to thank our dedicated parent and student volunteers at the Fawn Shop, event sponsors Joyner Fine Properties, and Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus for stopping by. Go, Saints!
This week, senior neurobiology students visited with our fourth-grade boys for a meeting of the minds! Upper schoolers set up interactive stations and explained how taste, smell, and vision interact with the brain through fun, hands-on activities.
Our Lower School has been having a blast over the last few weeks and getting into the holiday spirit! Saints parents joined our kindergarten classes to sew Christmas stockings, and our first grade community gathered to build creative and colorful candy houses with their buddies from St. Catherine's School! 🎄🎄🎄
