@belle_isle_rva has a brand new natural playground- and it is truly one of a kind! This play space is in the middle of Belle Isle and can be seen as soon as you cross over the Suspension bridge. It has a variety of play structures all made of logs- perfect for gross motor skills, balance, and imagination! Plus some picnic benches to sit on and plenty of room to run around and explore! To Get There: 🚗 Park at the Belle Isle Parking lot on Tredegar Street (near the Allianz Amphitheater) 🌉 Walk across the Belle Isle Suspension Bridge 🪵 You will see the play space right under the bridge in the middle of the open space on Belle Isle ✨Pro Tips✨ 1. Check the Allianz Amphitheater schedule and try to avoid going to Belle Isle if there is a concert going on- it gets busy down there for concerts! 2. Use a carrier or stroller for little walkers across the bridge- I didn’t realize how open it was so I was more comfortable carrying my toddler across the bridge vs letting him walk on his own. 3. If using a stroller- bring a jogging stroller as the paths on Belle Isle are gravel. 4. Be sure to also do the trail around Belle Isle if time permits!
