The Steward Alumni Podcast has entered new territory: a video episode and student co-hosts! In our first remote interview, Natalie Bendheim ’14 talked with host Harry Baron ’01 about her life in Los Angeles and her work in the acting/producing/screenwriting world. Two student co-hosts – aspiring actresses Emory Burns ’27 and Claire Stuckey ’27 – joined them for the second half of the conversation. 50 Fun Facts for 50 Years of Graduates!
Fact 49: For decades, the gym has been the heart of our graduation ceremonies! This tradition began in 1978, with ceremonies held in the original gym for over twenty years. In 2000, the Athletic Center underwent a total renovation, and since then graduation has taken place in the Multipurpose Gym where our Spartans will walk the stage tomorrow!

50 Fun Facts for 50 Years of Graduates!
Fact 48: A brand-new tradition was born with the Class of 2024, and it happened today for the Class of 2027! On the last full day of classes, while the seniors are off campus, the juniors meet up for the “Almost Senior Breakfast” and head to school to show everyone who the new “top dogs” on campus are!

50 Fun Facts for 50 Years of Graduates!
Fact 47: It’s graduation week! The classes of 2020 and 2021 had some of the most unique graduations in Steward history! Due to the pandemic, both ceremonies were moved to the lawn of Wilton Hall. The Class of 2020 even waited until July to safely walk across the stage. It was a beautiful testament to the resilience of our Spartans during a historic time!

Fact 46: In 1975, Steward established one of its most prestigious traditions by presenting the very first Dixon Award. The honor went to 10th grader Sharon Harris, marking the beginning of a legacy that recognizes students who best display, through words and actions, the true spirit of the Steward School.

Fact 45: In 2004, Monica Kallman Moehring ‘95 made history as our first full-time alumni teacher! After graduating as a Spartan, she returned to her roots as a MS/US chorus teacher before transitioning into theatre. From class plays in the Blackbox theater to mainstage productions, she helped set the stage for many future performers!
