🐾 ’Twas the Night Before School — Middle School Edition 💜💛
’Twas the night before school, and all through the town,
The Panthers were prepping and settling down.
The backpacks and trappers were packed… well, mostly, we hope,
While parents yelled frantically: “WHERE ARE YOUR NEW SHOES?!”
The outfits were chosen and laid out with care,
Then changed about twelve times — “I CAN’T WEAR THAT THERE!”
The alarms were all set for way-too-early o’clock,
While somebody suddenly remembered… “I NEED NEW SOCKS!”
The parents kept saying, “You need to get REST!”
While kids answered, “Chat, chill… I know what is best.” 😎
There were schedules to check and classrooms to find,
And locker combinations already slipping their minds.
“Wait… where’s my schedule?”
“What time do we eat?”
“Mom, STOP with the pictures!”
“I hope we get to pick our own seats!”
Sixth graders are nervous but ready to go,
Seventh graders will walk in like they already know.
And eighth graders will arrive like they OWN the whole place,
Top Panthers on campus — we will see it on their face.
Soon hallways will buzz and the classrooms will fill,
With laughter and learning (and maybe some “BRUH” still).
There’ll be friendships and memories, challenges too,
And plenty of growing before this year is through.
So get some sleep, Panthers — tomorrow’s the day!
A brand-new school year is headed our way.
From first-day nerves to the memories we’ll make,
There’s a whole year of greatness just waiting to take.
Here we go, Panthers — it’s time to begin…
