Thank you to everyone who participated in the 120th opening session of the Certified Planning Commissioners’ Program at the Virginia Museum of History & Culture.

Throughout the session, participants explored key topics including change and vision in planning, the role of the Planning Commission, the comprehensive plan and its elements and process, commission roles and procedures, tools for implementation, and the legal framework that shapes planning practice.
