Loving this special day and feel so very blessed to be walking and talking for decades. I share this birthday with a nephew, a childhood friend, my rector at church, my neighbor and former member of my company. Happy birthday to them as well!

Thank you everyone for sharing your love and thoughts as Meaghan, Brennan and I along with family members celebrated Ed West's Heavenly birthday on August 7.!! He loved apple pie and vanilla ice cream and we all enjoyed but not before dinner and my nine year old grandson Daniel Jr. rocked a blessing of food and more in memory of his PaPa West before that !

Join me in remembering Edward Godfrey West, the love of my life, best friend and spouse for 47 years. Ed was called home by our savior on January 2, 2023. He was an extraordinary father to Meaghan Brittany and Brennan Elliott and grandfather to Reagan and Daniel, Jr. He cherished his siblings, other family members and friends as well as Johnson C. Smith University and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. He loved St. Augustine Episcopal Church in Newport News and St. Philips Episcopal Church of Richmond, both in Virginia. Ed was committed as well to many organizations and felt so proud and prvileged to advocate on their behalf. Thank you everyone for your support during the past year. With much love, Marilyn House West
