Our B.S. in pharmaceutical sciences faculty and staff led our PharmSci Connect event last month for first- and second-years in our B.S. in pharmaceutical sciences program, along with an eager group of incoming undergraduates traveling from all over. Together, they enjoyed campus and lab tours, a faculty panel and a mini student org fair.
Kudos to Emily Wigginton, who led the event, Logan Neel, Ph.D., and Federica Carnamucio, Ph.D., who led the campus and lab tours, alumni and industry partners, who shared their guidance with several students and parents during the org fair, Dean K.C. Ogbonna, Pharm.D., and associate dean of student success Nick Garcia, Ph.D., who joined students for lunch, and our faculty panel, Matthew Halquist, Ph.D., Vasco Pontinha, Ph.D., Doug Sweet, Ph.D., and Yan Zhang, Ph.D., for sharing advice with students!
