Our longtime (and now sadly, former) Educational Technology Integrator Jeff Rew represented Albert Hill this morning competing in the Crosswind Cup put on by the Crosswind Foundation. Proceeds from the race and raffle afterwards benefit their mission of introducing underserved youth to paddlesports. They took a group of our students paddle boarding earlier in the year and will be doing additional events in the near future.

An important message from Ms. West about the 8th Grade Recognition Night at the Diamond:

Hi 8th Grade Families! TODAY IS THE DAY!
We are looking forward to the Albert Hill Recognition Night at the Diamond. Transportation will leave from the Calhoun Center and Albert Hill Middle School at 4:00pm. Ms. West will be posted at the Calhoun Center pick up spot, and Mr. Crump-Wallace will be at Albert Hill. If you are not taking transportation, please meet at the front gates so that students and their chaperones can pick up their tickets at the RED GROUP CHECK IN TENT. The schedule for tonight is as follows:
1. Meet at the front gates by 4:30pm. Students will be escorted under the tunnel for their meet and greet.
2. After the meet and greet and tour, students will be brought to the bullpen to wait their turn on the field at approximately 5:45pm.
3. After the recognition, students will exit the field and join their chaperones for the rest of the game.

Because we have such a great turnout, chaperones are encouraged to take pictures from the stands during the tunnel and field announcement. ONLY students will have access to the tunnel and be on the field. REMINDER: if you are not an 8th grader, you are still welcome to purchase tickets and celebrate our 8th graders at tonight's game.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone, celebrating you all, and your accomplishments today.”
