After supporting students as a reading intervention teacher at Mary Munford, Ms. Berents returned to the classroom full time in 1st grade and has continued to make an incredible impact on our school community. Her kindness, dedication, and top-notch instruction create a classroom environment where students feel supported, challenged, and loved every single day. As both an amazing educator and a Munford parent, Ms. Berents truly embodies what it means to be a Monarch. We are so grateful for all she brings to our school. Field Day 2026 ☀️🏃‍♀️💦🎉 From relay races to water games to nonstop smiles, yesterday was one for the books! Our students had an absolute blast, and none of it would have been possible without our incredible volunteers. Thank you for giving your time, energy, and enthusiasm to make the day so special for our Monarchs!

Now in its 45th year, this year’s three-day Mind Games event welcomed more than 358 student participants from elementary and middle schools throughout RPS. Hosted at Henderson Middle School, students competed in Construction, P3 (Patterns, Puzzles, and Possibilities), Logic, and Productive Thinking, showcasing creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Our Munford 2nd/3rd grade team came in 5th place overall and our 4th/5th grade team came in 4th place overall! Congratulations, monarchs!
