The weather might be stirring outside today, but it can also be a great moment to check in with what’s happening inside.

Try asking your child: “What’s the weather like inside of you today?”
Are they feeling sunny ☀️, cloudy☁️, rainy or stormy ⛈️, or maybe a little windy 🌬️?

Connecting feelings to weather can help children put words to big emotions and remind them that feelings, just like the weather, can change.

Next time the skies rumble, take a moment to talk about the weather in your hearts, too! 💛
