Thank you all so much for the incredible outpouring of birthday love and well wishes! I feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family. Today, on my birthday, I would love to ask for your help in supporting something very close to my heart – The Innerwork Center.

If you’re thinking about giving me a gift, I can’t think of anything more meaningful than making a donation to the Innerwork Center. I am surrounded by friends who are wealthy in so many unimaginable ways – mentally, physically, emotionally, socially, spiritually, metaphysically, and financially. As we celebrate this beautiful day, let’s spread that abundance to those who need it most.

When you support the Innerwork Center, you help provide access to inner work, the kind of deep, transformative work that changes lives. No dollar amount is too small – every bit contributes to offering someone the opportunity to grow, evolve, and find greater well-being. This is the best way I can think of to celebrate today: by helping others on their own journeys of inner growth.

If you feel called to give, please visit www.innerworkcenter.org and consider a donation in my honor. Your support means the world to me, and together we can create a ripple of change.

With all my love and gratitude,
Yedda 💖

📚✨ Exciting News! ✨📚

Over the past several years, I’ve been blessed to create transformative work, from launching my custom coaching course to publishing my book Shut Up and Sit, Finding Silence and All the Life-Changing Magic That Comes With It as both a manual and an audiobook. So many of you have asked, “What happened next after learning to shut up and sit?” That’s why earlier this year, I launched my second book on what I did next, Enough Already, sharing my journey to cultivating "enoughness" through mindfulness, coaching, and managing my inner critic.

And one of the stories I shared in my second book was a story my grandfather used to tell me when I was little and dealing with a lot of hard things as a little girl.

Today, I’m overjoyed to share something close to my heart – my new children’s book, The Tale of Billybedoggonebagby! 🐾 This magical story, inspired by my grandfather's tales, carried me through my childhood, teaching me the power of imagination and magic. It’s a story of hope, love, and resilience for every child (or child at heart) who needs to believe in the possibility of magic.

I’ve poured my heart into bringing Billy to life, honoring my grandfather’s memory, and sharing this message with the world. I truly believe that this story will bring joy, hope, and imagination to your life, just as it did for me.

🎉 You can now get The Tale of Billybedoggonebagby on Amazon! Click the link to buy it for yourself, your little ones, or someone who needs a reminder of the magic we all carry within. 🌟

Thank you for all your support and love. Here’s to keeping the spirit of imagination alive! 💫

Exciting Announcement: A New Chapter Begins!

Starting this Saturday, August 17th, National Non-Profit Day, I’ve made the decision to transition all of my social media posts to SIT WITH YEDDA, now under the umbrella of the Innerwork Center. If you haven’t been following along or didn’t receive the latest updates, I’m thrilled to share that SIT WITH YEDDA has officially moved beneath the Innerwork Center, where I now serve as the Executive Director.

This change marks a new focus for me: building, edifying, and uplifting other thought leaders and facilitators, helping them bring their incredible content to the world. My content will still be available, but it will now be part of something much bigger—a broader mission to serve others and contribute to a greater cause.

I am incredibly excited about this move and highly encourage all of my friends, family, current clients, and past clients to follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. You can find us on all these platforms, and this will be the last post I make on my other business threads. My personal accounts and pages will only be used to share updates on these exciting changes.

Please head over to interworkcenter.org where you can find all our social media handles. Be on the lookout this fall for some amazing news—we’re launching an online classroom to reach people around the world, a new podcast, and so much more. Our tagline at the Innerwork Center is “Begin Within,” a testament I’ve lived by and a philosophy I’m excited to help others embody.

This work is not for one person alone—it’s for all of us. I feel like I’ve finally found my seat and my lane, and I am beyond grateful for your love, encouragement, and support over the years. Let’s do the inner work together at the Innerwork Center. See you there!

Wow! Transformational Night at the Innerwork Center 🌟

Tonight’s class at the Innerwork Center, taught by Richard Lassiter was nothing short of wonderful. It was a joy to be surrounded by spiritually curious individuals, all seeking to understand our purpose and connect beyond the confines of traditional religion.

Our founder, Nancy Milner, envisioned a sacred, safe space for people to connect with the spirit within and beyond, and tonight, we truly honored her mission. We explored one of the five spiritual truths: “We are here to learn and grow.” Through engaging exercises and heartfelt discussions, we experienced each truth deeply.

As we left, we shook hands with at least five people, looked them in the eyes, and said, “I love you, I respect you, I back you, and I hope you have a wonderful life.” It was profoundly moving, creating a sense of connection and community.

At the Innerwork Center, we offer various modalities, and Richard Lassiter’s classes from Wayshowers College beautifully complement our programs. Visit www.innerworkcenter.org to learn more about our upcoming classes and retreats in August and September.

We are excited you will joining us and experiencing the transformation for yourself. 🌿

I am so excited to invite everyone to attend the course next Monday at the Innerwork Center on “Exploring the Five Spiritual Truths” with Richard Lassiter, former president of Wayshowers College.

This course has been incredibly powerful for me in my personal development and spiritual growth journey. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is an absolutely refreshing breath of fresh air to discuss spirituality free from religion, dogma, and the patriarchy—without the wrappings that often accompany fear-based faith models. Regardless of what you believe or think, this is a course not to be missed. It’s a place of spiritual acceptance where you can talk with and learn from people who are hungry for soulful connection.

Not only will you learn the five spiritual truths, but you will also be able to connect with others and be in a safe place. In a world that is lacking the ability to engage in what I call crisis contemplation—times of great stress and fear where our belief systems and social norms are falling down all around us—this course offers spiritual truths that have commonality and common language.

Join us next Monday! Go to innerworkcenter.org, click the classes section, and scroll down to find “Richard Lassiter: The Five Spiritual Truths.” It is a donation-based class, which means you can contribute any amount from a dollar up to join us. Come in, learn these five simple truths, and connect with others on a soulful level.

I'm so excited to share with you all that I am going to be doing a series of mini silent retreats. I've noticed along my journey of learning to find silence and stillness that there are very few places that will begin to teach you how to get ready for silent retreats.

My meditation teacher taught me this years ago: start with two hours, then build up to four hours, and eventually work your way up to a day. From there, you can step into a weekend silent retreat and, if called to it, even more. At the The Innerwork Center, we're excited to offer these opportunities for you to find silence without having to pack up, leave home, or go somewhere off the beaten path. If that’s what you want to do, that’s great, but for many of us living busy lives, finding even 20 minutes a day is hard enough, much less a couple of hours for a retreat.

I am inviting you to start the same journey I began. This weekend, I will hold a two-hour silent retreat at the Innerwork Center. Our goal is to offer monthly two-hour silent retreats, quarterly four-hour silent retreats, semi-annual one-day silent retreats, and an annual weekend silent retreat. You'll be amazed at what just turning your phone off and escaping the world for two hours can do.

If you're thinking, "I do not know how I would sit in silence for two hours," don’t worry—I’ve got you. We use a wonderful format that was taught to me: three series of 20-minute mindfulness exercises in the first hour, repeated in the second hour. You will leave with confidence, feeling empowered and gratified by how you’ve invested in your own inner work, learning to be with silence and stillness.

Join me in the heart of Richmond this Saturday to experiment with a silent retreat. Visit www.innerworkcenter.org click the "Begin Within" tab, then the "Retreats" tab, and pick the one that works for you.

I hope to see you this Saturday. Here's to the power of silence and stillness and all the spiritual maturity, curiosity, and wonder it creates. In these times of uncertainty and with the tragedies happening around us, this silence and stillness will help you learn to be with the unknown. We could all use some practice with that right now!
